The Poway Senior Center has been serving Poway and its neighboring communities since 1974.  PSC was known originally as the Weingart Center in recognition of the generosity of the Weingart Foundation who assisted in funding the first building that was also built with the help of the Poway Rotary, and community friends.  Today, we continue to offer programming and services for those over 50 who are residents of Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Scripps Ranch, Sabre Springs, Rancho Penasquitos, and Carmel Mountain.

In addition to programming targeted to adults over 50, we host activities, including BINGO & TAI CHI for all adults 18 and over.

Join us in the journey of healthy aging through a variety of classes and activities that stimulate your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Our Volunteers serve as our backbone as they help provide services such as retail sales in the Gift Shop, greet you at the Reception Desk, deliver meals to the homebound elderly, teach Line Dancing,  Knitting and more.   If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Volunteer Services Manager at Ext. 305.

PSC operated by the Poway Valley Senior Citizens Corporation, a non-profit, 501(c)3 corporation which relies soley on the generous support of our members, participants and donors through their membership fees, donations, grants, bingo fees, and business partnerships.
